Project: 3MW
Hybrid Solar System in Malaysia

The project aims to provide sustainable energy supply taking into account local climate conditions. The station combines solar panels and energy storage systems, ensuring stable operation and reducing carbon emissions.

Project Description

Malaysia

On the ground

The 3 MW off-grid solar power plant project in Malaysia is a state-of-the-art renewable energy solution aimed at providing sustainable power supply to remote areas, industrial sites or agricultural enterprises.

Project Key Features:

  • Location: Remote location in Malaysia (e.g. island or rural areas with limited access to the central power grid).
  • Power: 1 MW (3,000 kW), which can supply electricity to small villages or industrial enterprises.
  • System Type: Fully off-grid with lithium-ion battery energy storage system (ESS).
  • Solar Panels: Highly efficient photovoltaic modules (e.g. monocrystalline panels with 20-22% efficiency).
  • Inverter System: Use of hybrid inverters to optimize operation with batteries.
  • Energy Storage System: 3-5 MWh battery array to provide stable power supply at night and in cloudy conditions.
  • Control: Intelligent monitoring system with remote control and energy consumption optimization.

Project Benefits:

  • Environmental friendliness: No CO₂ emissions.
  • Energy independence: No dependence on centralized power sources.
  • Economic efficiency: Reduced fuel costs (compared to diesel generators).
  • Durability: Solar panels have a service life of 25+ years, batteries - 10-15 years.

Project objectives:

  1. Providing electricity to remote communities without access to the state grid.
  2. Development of sustainable energy in line with Malaysia's climate goals.
  3. Reduction in electricity costs for local businesses and the agro-industrial sector.

This project has become part of a global strategy to increase the share of renewable energy in the country's energy balance and will help reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

Completed project steps

Шаг 1

Design

A 3 MW hybrid solar power plant project was developed for Malaysia, taking into account climate conditions and requirements for integration with the local power grid.
Шаг 2

Equipment

Solar panels, inverters and battery systems for energy storage were purchased. The equipment passed all necessary tests for compliance with international standards.
Шаг 3

Construction

Work has begun on building the infrastructure for installing solar panels and inverters. The necessary preparatory work has been completed to connect the station to the power grid.
Шаг 4

Installation

Solar panels, inverters and energy storage systems were installed. All system elements were installed with optimal performance and safety in mind.
Шаг 5

Integration

The hybrid system has been integrated into the local power grid. Adjustments have been made to ensure stable operation of the station, taking into account peak loads and variable solar activity.
Шаг 6

Commissioning

The final tests and adjustment of the system for the start of operation have been carried out. All necessary permits and certificates for the full functioning of the station have been received.
